Junior Library Guild is looking for a sales team member who wants to share their love of reading and libraries to help with our data analysis, strategy, and operations efforts to strengthen our sales and mission. (We expect that this person will come into the office on average once a month and will need to be on-site for two weeks of training at the start of the role ). The salary range for this role is $42,000-$50,000.

The Sales Support Specialist will assist the Sales Managers by drafting reports, coordinating content, and building relationships with the sales team.

What You’ll Do

  • Direct sales leads to appropriate members of the sales team
  • Assist in data entry and analysis of sales reports for managers and sales team
  • Assist with daily sales meeting PowerPoint presentations
  • Maintain the sale’s SharePoint site
  • Assists with order entry and inquiries when sales representatives are on PTO

Key Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2-years’ experience in a sales support or administrative role
  • Excellent communication with all levels within the organization
  • Extraordinary organizational and coordination skills
  • Good interpersonal skills to deal with customers and collaborate with other departments in the company
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook/Word/Excel), CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics and ERP platforms such as SAP

The Sales Support Specialist role requires someone who exhibits curiosity, collaboration, and a sense of urgency. This person will be working independently as well as within a team and should be proficient at learning new software and platforms quickly.
