TIn accordance with the mission of Mount Carmel Health System: A patient transporter is responsible for the safe, timely and accurate transport of patients, medical equipment and patient related items to theirdestinations, enabling physicians, nurses, technicians, and therapists to perform their duties in an effective manner. Ensures positive patient and customer satisfaction. Will use proper body mechanics, adherence to policies, follow procedures and standards established by Hospital, Departmental, and Regulatory Agencies.
High School Diploma Required. CPR “HeartSaver†Required. Physical strength and ability to lift and transport patients. Possesses effective verbal communication, interpersonal and perception skills. Prior work experience in the health care field preferred
