Also strong: the steady middle

Accounting and bookkeeping (about 230 openings, roughly $80,000 average listed pay), maintenance and facilities (about 210), delivery driving, and warehouse work all remain dependable bets. Warehouse and driving roles cluster on the south and east sides near Rickenbacker and the I-70 corridor, typically listing in the low $50,000s. See warehouse and driving openings.

What stands out in the data

Two things. First, healthcare in all its forms (nursing, allied health, behavioral health, home care, medical office) adds up to far more open roles than any other slice of the market. If you have any clinical credential, Columbus employers are competing for you. Second, among listings that publish pay, the board-wide average sits in the mid $70,000s, which says less about the typical job and more about how many high-paying clinical, sales, and technical roles are open right now.
