Student Assistant

Student Assistant (Job Opening 380331) – Scope of Position: Is a member of the retail operations staff.  Assists in food service operations to patients in OSUH, James, NSF, OSUE and Dodd Hall.
Position summary: Provides quality service to our customers. This position may be responsible for serving, cleaning, preparing and portioning salads, and grilling sandwiches for cafe meal service.  Position may work in our  Production Kitchen, Seasons Cafe or Buckeye Garden Cafe. Position requires interactions with a variety of patients, visitors and staff members so that the customer service requirements are met.  This position may also functions as a cashier providing basic point-of-sale customer and inventory assistance for a retail or sales operation of the university (e.g., customer service, cashiering, cleaning, displaying, stocking merchandise on the retail floor).  This position in Nutrition Services is responsible for cash and non-cash transactions for goods and services purchases through the cafes.

Education and Experience

HS Graduate or Equivalent. Currently enrolled in classes
