Overview
The Goddard School is a private school for early childhood education offering programs for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. It is our goal to provide a safe and nurturing environment for each child while offering them the opportunity to develop their natural curiosity and creativity as well as a lifelong love of learning.
We are currently seeking energetic, patient, caring individuals whose love of children and learning make them the perfect fit for our school! We are looking to fill full time teaching positions. Job requirements include:
High school diploma, BA or AA in early childhood education or related field
Teaching experience at preschool level preferred
Must pass Ohio BCII and FBI background checks
Ability to work effectively with adults and children
Willingness to attend training in child abuse recognition/prevention, CPR, first aid, and management of communicable disease
Provide age appropriate individual and group instruction designed to meet individual needs of children
Stay knowlegeble in all state licensing duties and Goddard Quality Assurance standards to ensure classroom maintains compliance with the rules
Parent communication including daily feedback and semi-annual progress reports
Participate in monthly staff meetings
Develop daily and long range lesson plans
